Washington Avenue

Washington Avenue is one of the main commercial avenues in South Beach

Between 5th Street and 16th Street you will find restaurants, banks, gyms, retail stores, grocery stores and hotels. From Lincoln Road to Dade Boulevard you will find some condominiums on the east side and entertainment venues on the west side:  Soundscape Park, New World Symphony and The Fillmore Miami Beach at Jackie Gleason Theater

South Beach's largest structure, the Miami Beach Convention Center, has main entrances on Washington Avenue and on Convention Center Drive.  Its biggest annual event is the world famous Art Basel

North of 15th Street, Collins Avenue is the closest road to the beach

Lined up on both sides by hotels and restaurants, there is constant traffic entering and exiting hotels plus pedestrian traffic. Drive with caution

Collins Park features The Bass Museum, along with several outdoor art pieces, beautiful Baobabs and palm trees.  Adjacent to Collins Park is the Miami Dade Regional Library , the Miami City Ballet and a commercial residential neighborhood mix of boutique hotels, condominiums and multi-families
